Dale’s Super Juicy Beer Can Chicken #BeerMonth
Dale’s Super Juicy Beer Can Chicken #BeerMonth
How do you make the juiciest chicken?
Spoiler: You shove a beer can up it’s ass!
Well guys it’s #BeerMonth again! What do I make? Well I always stay away from obvious choices, but this year I decided to try and make a tried and true beer can chicken recipe that I found on How Sweet It Is… (of course I made some adjustments, duh). But things are changing, I am changing.
I’m gonna steal like an artist and shit.
Developing my very own recipe isn’t something I am stressing about right now.
I haven’t been posting much lately, it’s because things are changing here at NY Foodgasm. I’ve started these Beer and Yoga events at local breweries on my native long island. They’ve been super successful, selling out. I am 100% in love with this new enterprise and if you happen to live on long island, I would love to meet you at one. You can see more about that here.
Anyways… I couldn’t let #BeerMonth pass without posting a kick ass beer recipe and of course, the Fuckin’ Fab Food Bloggers have joined in! So make sure you look below to see all the amazing shit they cooked up.
Let me introduce my #BeerMonth Bloggers and their AMAZING Beer Creations!
Bread Booze Bacon made some Chorizo Queso Fundido
Big Flavors from a Tiny Kitchen made Garlicky Beer + Tarragon Steamed Mussels
All Roads Lead to the Kitchen made Mahi Mahi Burgers Glazed with IPA-Hoisin Barbecue Sauce
Nomageddon made Hush Puppies With A Smoked Cheddar Stout Dip
So I FINALLY made a beer can chicken guys…
It did not disappoint! It was super duper juicy, full of shit tons of flavor!
I took it up a notch and made it into a complete meal by adding carrots, potatoes and onions in the pan to roast with the chicken!! So this is a complete meal in one pan… a very large pan… but LESS cleaning, YAY!
It’s also gluten free, if you’re into that.
I used my favorite pale ale, Dale’s Pale Ale.
It’s not just a favorite because it’s a good pale ale. But there is a story behind it…
I joined a beer group, surrounded by a bunch of dudes. Everyone had recommended Boat Beer, a pale ale. Found it, drank it and found I didn’t like it much. In fact it wasn’t worth the hype and compared it to Dale’s Pale Ale and said I liked Dale’s more. So I quickly posted this to the group… little did I know the brewer was a member. He quickly attacked my opinion, we went at it. He called me names and almost no one defended me (they were too busy kissing the ass of the brewer and his hyped beer).
So Dale’s is more than a beer, it’s a reminder to be you and do you no matter the consequences.
Pull a Dale and BE YOU!

I’m so happy to hear that your beer & yoga project is going so well. I wish I lived in the area, I’d totally join in that action. Thanks for still holding beer month, though, it’s something I look forward to. This chicken looks so ridiculously moist and delicious…I almost can’t stand it. Adding to my must-try list (as soon as I get my hands on some Dale’s).
