This is a comprehensive guide and a fun read. There is so much information and it is pretty easy to read and in small sections. Any beer lover will learn from this. From the noob to the seasoned drinker!

The newest book by the same author above, but this is a guide exclusive to IPA’s. The last few years has seen a huge explosion of IPA’s and this book guides you through the best of the best IPA’s.

A fun book for the beer lover with kids…. or just a kid at heart. This is a totally adorable parody of the children’s book with a beer update. It’s on my wish list too!

The Beer Wench’s Guide to Beer

 

I was psyched when I got to meet Ashley, aka The Beer Wench, a few months ago. I have long looked up to her as the first female craft beer evangelist. She has been working in the industry for a long time and is very knowledgable and super fun to have a few beers with. This book is a fun and totally easy read with some great information. I also like how she gives examples of other flavors that the beer may remind you. Perfect for the novice or someone that has intermediate beer knowledge.

The Oxford Companion for Beer

 

Talk about informative, this is the shit. Any beer term or beer related history is in this book. It’s like a beer encyclopedia and with a forward by Garrett Oliver, you can’t go wrong!
