It is so important to share common interests with friends…when that common interest also happens to be food everyone wins! We started the evening with a freshly prepared salsa with heirloom tomatoes- kind of like a pico di gallo. I am usually not a fresh tomato lover, but this was so fresh and crisp: perfect for a summer evening. Seriously try not to lick the screen, how mouthwatering does that skirt steak look?!! It was marinated in soy sauce and ginger- just the right salty sweet flavor and cooked perfectly accompanied by asparagus with a tri-colored cherry tomatoes covered with a balsamic reduction. Great balance of flavors and great company! Shout out to the chef Christie Cotty-Owens!!
This gets 4.5 out of 5 bites!
With the summer comes LOTS of great food- definitely looking forward to The St. Massa Day Feast in August keep on the look out for what is sure to be a couple mouth-watering posts!
