So sometimes you realize the what you do all the time that you learned on your own… Well it may just be the ultimate kitchen hack of all time!

Rice and just water- Perish the thought!
So this is stupid simple but I have shared this stupid simple tip with many and they didn’t think it was so stupid… It will blow your mind!
You know how they always say to salt the water of your pasta since that is the only chance you have to add flavor… well it’s not the ONLY way. You can cook your rice or quinoa in vegetable, chicken or beer stock… most any stock and it makes a HUGE difference.
Hell add a couple veggies in and you got yourself a hell of a side dish.
So this barely counts as a recipe, but I assure you. This simple tip, if you don’t already know it will blow your mind!!

Great tip!!! Once when I was sick in bed, my hubby made dinner for himself and the kids. He cooked up the rice in water with no salt. I usually used chicken broth and the kids revolted. They couldn’t wait to tell me about the awful rice that dad made. LOL, they were quite wary about even eating MY rice after that!
It is so simple, but many people have no idea about this simple tip. Thought it would be great to pass along!
